SARCASM: Intellect on the Offensive

Okay Everyone I hope you enjoy this as much as the customers, my coworker, the police operator, the police officer and I did.

I work for 7/11, yes the gas station place, and we have people who come in and do Beer Runs all the time, almost nightly for the most part, 2 tonight even.

So here it goes, I got a weird feeling and went to go lock up one of the doors to the store. I slid the security gate to cover up the locked door and a guy comes around the corner. He said something and sounded a tad drunk, again I had the same weird feeling. I just knew he was going to do something so I started to sweep the floor mat by the entrance, I moved to let a customer pass and he bolted out of the store with a 30 pack of Bud. One of the customers immediately gave chase and almost caught him.

I thanked the guy who ran after the beer runner and went to go file a report on the whole thing. The guy who came with the one who chased the guy left something in his car and went out to get it. While he was out there he saw something on the ground just pasted the store front. He walked over and it was an ID Card and a Library Card. He walked back in and asked us if that was the guy, all three of us [my coworker, the guy who gave chase, and myself] all yelled out, "Yes!"

He dropped his ID CARD! I mean DUDE! So after we all broke out laughing I called the police and told the operator everything. When I got to the part about the ID Card I could tell she wanted to laugh. Minutes later, seriously just 5 minutes went past, a police officer shows up, we tell him all about it he was just about to laugh, he couldn't believe that someone could have that much bad luck.

He took the ID and was heading over to the house last I heard.

Anyway I thought I'd share.
